Connolly Hall Dorms


NY3 was asked to redesign all of the main corridors, entry foyer and main entrances to the Connolly Hall dormitory building. NY3 was able to modernize this facility utilizing well designed lighting, color selections, materials and security technology.

Hoyt Dorms

NY3 was commissioned to convert approximately 30,000 square feet of a Landmark retail and office building in the heart of the Fulton Street mall into new dormitory facilities for Long Island University – Brooklyn campus.

Student Clubs

NY3 was selected among other firms to redesign the Student Clubs area. The scope of work included upgrading mechanical systems, toilet facilities, and creating a new interaction experience for the numerous and diverse student club organizations.

NY3 was selected to design a synagogue and day care facility in the heart of the Bukharian Jewish community. The synagogue is a departure from traditional design and explores the maximizing of volume and space within an irregularly shaped lot using light and glass as primary design elements. NY3 initially needed to seek variance approval from the NYC Board of Standards and appeals and successfully obtained that approval.
